Memorial Day Ceremony at Cambridge Village

Over 200 residence, staff, and guests honored our country’s veterans during a Memorial Day Ceremony held at Cambridge Village of Apex. This was the 4th year Cambridge Village has held a ceremony on Memorial Day.

As is tradition a parade begins the event, led by a flag platoon from the Apex VFW. This year’s guest speakers included Mayor Bill Sutton, Vietnam veteran Mike Melugin Sr. and one of our own residents, Jack MacNoughton, a WWII veteran who shared experience at Omaha Beach during D Day. The audience enjoyed music provided by the NC State Drum and Pipe Corps and patriotic music from local singer Jill Smith. Cambridge Village of Apex cannot express our gratitude enough for all our Veterans and troops who have served and who are currently serving in the military.
